Murali Doraiswamy

Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Duke University

Murali Doraiswamy is a leading physician scientist in the areas of brain health and personalized medicine at Duke Medicine where he is a Professor in the Division of Translational Neuroscience and Director of the Neurocognitive Disorders Program in Psychiatry. He also serves as a member of the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences and the Duke Center for Personalized Medicine.

Doraiswamy directs a clinical trials unit focused on developing personal diagnostics and therapeutics for cognitive enhancement and mental well-being. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London) and a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Neuroscience and Behavior. Doraiswamy has served as an advisor to leading government agencies, advocacy groups and businesses, and received many awards including a special Congressional recognition.  He is the coauthor of a popular book, The Alzheimer’s Action Plan.
