
Hyman, Arthur
Arthur is Dean of the Bernard Revel Graduate School and the Distinguished Service Professor of Philosophy at Yeshiva University. A renowned expert on Maimonides, he is an authority on medieval Jewish, Christian, and Islamic philosophy, and his books and articles have been published worldwide. He has served as president of both the American Academy for Jewish Research and the Society for Medieval and Renaissance Philosophy. He has also served on the board of directors of the Association for Jewish Studies and is currently the editor of Maimonidean Studies.
