Steven is Professor in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. Stephen is the author, Genesis to Genocide: The Meaning of Human Nature and the Power of Behavior Control, which takes a stands against sociobiology’s excessive impact on society. He believes that to understand consciousness it is necessary to embed social and interpersonal elements.
