Biography

Peter Ulric Tse is Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience in the department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth College. He holds a BA from Dartmouth (1984; majored in Mathematics and Physics), and a PhD in Experimental Psychology from Harvard University (1998).

Tse taught schoolchildren in the Peace Corps in Nepal after graduating from college, then taught in Japan for several years before beginning graduate studies. He was a Senior Fellow at Dartmouth College, awarded a Harvard William James Fellowship, and a McDonnell-Pew Scholarship to support a post-doc at the Max Planck Institute in Tuebingen. In 2014 he was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship. He directs the National Science Foundation's EPSCoR Attention Consortium.
